Founded In 1994
In the early 2000’s Hemlon took its expertise and innovative skills to new levels by expanding its capabilities into specialised filament yarns like Polyester Textured Yarns, Dual Core Yarns and Air Textured Yarns. The company began designing and building facilities specialized in developing products that would cater to the changing demands of the market as well as eliminate the need to import value added yarns.
Hemlon continues to produce high performance yarns for leading apparel, industrial, auto, and advanced composite companies throughout India and the world. Today three-plant operation, corporate headquarters, and sales offices are all located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, under the direction of the first and second generation of the Majmundar Family.

Mr. Jayesh A. Majmundar (Chairman & Director)
Mr. Jayesh A. Majmundar is the Chairman of the Hemlon Group. He holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineer from United Kingdom. With over 30 years of experience in the textile industry, Mr. Majmundar has led the organization to achieving accelerated growth in filament manufacturing capacity in India.
Mr. Sapan J. Majmundar (Director)
Mr. Sapan J. Majumdar is Managing Director of Hemlon. He holds a degree in E.C. & M.S. in Industrial Engineering with over 10+ years of experience in the industry. Mr. Sapan has been involved in creating new marketing, product development and production related activities.
Mr. Dhaval A. Majmundar (Director)
Mr. Dhaval J. Majumdar pursued B. Tech. from BITS Pilani, Dubai in Electrical & Instrumentation and M.B.A. from Nirma University. He is actively involved in group’s finance activities and plans all new project related activities with hands on experience on marketing.
